Irizar is a Spanish bus manufacturer. It was founded in 1889.

The main novelty of the company Irizar was the new body of the PB, for a four-year development and implementation of the company invested 18 million euros. For the first time it was shown at the Hanover Motor Show in the autumn of 2002, and a year later the 44-seat tourist car Scania Irizar PB received the title "Bus 2004". The standard 12-meter body of Irizar PB 12M35 is mounted on a Scania K124EV chassis with a 12-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 420 liters. with., a mechanical 8-speed gearbox and a front independent air suspension. For installation on a chassis with a wheel arrangement of 6x2, the company offers a 56-seat body PB-1337 with a length of 13.9 m with a similar design. In total the bodies of the PB series are offered in 12 versions of 12-15 m in length with different interior layout.

The Century series has been produced since 1991 (the bus was first introduced to the press in July 1990). Currently, the third generation of Century is being manufactured. The body of the Century fully meets all modern requirements for safety and comfort. It is made by a modular method and allows to get buses of 8, 9 or 12 m in length with one or two swinging side doors with a total capacity of up to 55 passengers and a number of seats 32-37. The Century body of different length and configuration was usually installed on the chassis of Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Volvo, IVECO, DAF. In 2000 the company expected to produce 2000 bodies, including in Spain - 1400. Their exports are carried out in 45 countries.
